I have practised as a barrister specializing in shipping and international trade at 20 Essex Street since 1997. Since 2005 I have accepted appointments as arbitrator in relation to shipping and other commercial disputes.
I have specialized in shipping law and arbitration since 1997. I have appeared as counsel in numerous shipping arbitrations and before the English Commercial Court in cases deciding important points of arbitration law such as A v. B [2011] 1 Lloyd’s Rep. 363 (Court’s power to award security where award challenged) and SOS v. Inerco [2010] 2 Lloyd’s Rep. 345 (Court’s power to extend time for commencement of arbitration).
