Kenny’s principal areas of practice are in litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution (including commercial, general and shipping matters).

He has advised on and provided services over a wide range of contentious and non-contentious work, including the following areas of law: Agency, Arbitration, Banking and Finance, Company and Corporate, Competition, Conflicts, Construction, Contracts, Employment, Injunctions, Insolvency, Insurance, Intellectual Property, International Trade, Moneylending, Negligence, Partnership, Privacy, Property and Real Estate, Sale of Goods, Securities, Shipping and Maritime, Tenancy, Tort, and Trust.

He has also done advisory, transactional and cross-border work relating to commercial contracts, projects, international trade, commodities, banking, corporate and finance, conveyancing and real estate, and has advised on claims of varied nature. He is also actively involved in Corporate and advisory work.

He has represented clients in hearings before the Court of Appeal, High Court and State Courts, arbitration hearings, Strata Titles Board hearings, mediations, conciliations, settlement conferences and negotiations.

Kenny sits on the Panel of Arbitrators of Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb), Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA), National Committee of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC), Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA), Kigali International Arbitration Centre (KIAC), and Law Society Arbitration Scheme (LSAS).

He is also an accredited Adjudicator with Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA), and an Associate Mediator with Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC).

He has sat as Arbitrator or acted as Counsel in various institutional and ad-hoc arbitration matters, involving international and/or domestic arbitration regimes.

Kenny has presented at legal seminars in Singapore and China, in both English and Mandarin.Back
