Dennis Fry is a highly experienced engineer, project manager and dispute resolution professional, with a background in manufacturing, shipyard and offshore construction, oil & gas, water treatment and other extractive and process industries. As a result of his wide ranging experience in industry and dispute resolution, combined with his legal education and training, he is able to understand and analyse the interrelating technical, commercial and legal issues involved in complex multi-disciplinary projects. He has worked as Engineer, Project Manger and Arbitrator in many parts of the world, and in particular in East Asia, including Singapore, Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia and Brunei. Dennis has been appointed Arbitrator in a number of complex high value disputes involving construction, conversion, repair and modification of FPSO’s, fixed and floating platforms, barges, floating cranes and other vessels. He has sat as Sole Arbitrator, Chairman/Presiding Arbitrator and Party Appointed Arbitrator in a broad range of matters. By virtue of his extensive experience, personal skills and qualifications he is ideally suited to act as Arbitrator in a wide range of disputes, in particular those involving Offshore Oil & Gas, Shipbuilding, Ship Conversion, Modification and Repair.Back
