Prof Nathan Tamblyn
Independent Arbitrator

Arbitrator, Law Professor, Barrister

I studied law at Oxford and Cambridge, where I was a scholar. I was called to the English Bar by Gray’s Inn (1999), and practised as a barrister from Quadrant Chambers, London. My busy practice included shipping law and commercial law. I appeared regularly in court and in arbitration. I am a law professor, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have taught at Cambridge, in Hong Kong, and at Exeter. My many publications include a textbook on shipping law, and practitioner texts, including as a contributing author to Chitty on Contract in Hong Kong. I am an independent arbitrator based in London and Exeter.
